Aborted baby parts now being sold for 'science' experiments by multi-million-dollar company
by Jennifer Lea Reynolds
(NaturalNews) Planned Parenthood is obviously the center of debate between anti and pro-abortion activists, but now the organization is coming under fire for something that simply can't be argued. What they've been engaging in is not only enough to make your stomach churn, but it's illegal. And they continue to do it.
The organization is selling aborted baby parts in the name of science, getting affiliates to interact with biotech companies and encourage them to purchase organs and various other parts.
A video of undercover actors posing as interested buyers provides details about the process; in it, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, who oversees all PP affiliates and performs abortions, talks to them about everything from how certain body parts are kept intact during the procedures to the growing demand for livers -- all while she casually sips wine and repeatedly stabs her fork in her meal.(1,2)
"What type of tissue would you like to order?"Additionally, she mentions working with a company called StemExpress, a privately-held, for-profit California business that says it supplies the likes of human blood and tissue products to biomedical researchers.(1)
According to the StemExpress web site, they're "...a multi-million dollar company that supplies human blood, tissue products, primary cells and other clinical specimens to biomedical researchers around the world to fuel regenerative medicine and translational research. Founded in 2010, we offer the largest variety of raw material in the industry...Our human tissue products range from fetal to adult and healthy to diseased..." They urge people to get on board with them and use the body parts they obtain. "By partnering with StemExpress, you'll get the high quality samples you need so that you can focus on the research."(3)
This video, provided by the pro-life group Center for Medical Progress, even shows an order form from StemExpress in which researchers can pick and choose baby parts; a drop-down menu asks a variety of unfathomable questions such as the preferred gestational range, number of specimens and of course, the disgusting "what type of tissue would you like to order?"(2)
Gross, isn't it?
The pick-and-choose form seems like something you'd see while shopping for shoes or house wares online from home, tailoring the specifics to your needs. Sadly, Nucatola thinks that way too, stating her desire for PP to work with StemExpress and affiliates in such a manner that they could ultimately all be provided with a "menu" of body part options.
Loopholes protect against illegal buying and selling of human body partsHowever, she makes it very clear that their legal department does not want PP to be the middleman in this instance, hence their relationship with affiliates which serves as a loophole so 1) the process can continue and 2) PP never gets any heat. In fact, the Center for Medical Progress video states that "PPFA has affiliates contract directly for body part sales, so that a regional affiliate can take the fall for the entire organization if the sales are exposed."(2)
Of course legal departments at PP would shudder at such a thought; the practice of buying or selling human body parts is illegal after all. That's right. It's a federal felony (42 U.S. Code 274e). Yet it continues, as this video and others like it blatantly demonstrate.(2)
Other videos demonstrate Planned Parenthood's involvement in selling aborted baby parts, protecting themselvesOther videos exist which show Planned Parenthood's involvement with companies who sell aborted baby parts. One such video shows Dr. Mary Gatter, Planned Parenthood's Medical Directors' Council President, trying to bargain over fetal organs. In it, she also talks about a "less crunchy technique" that allows baby organs to remain in the best shape possible.(4)
Another video involves Dr. Savita Ginde, Vice President and Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, providing tips on how the organization can protect itself when the topic of illegally selling baby organs arises.(4)
This entire situation is not only disheartening, but truly demonstrative of the fact that many people and organizations today are fueled by greed, shrouded in a cloak of loopholes, and content to justify actions which only helps themselves while destroying others.
