TSA competing with Subway's Jared to rack up record number of molestations

by Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

(NaturalNews) A screener who worked at the federal government's Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for 13 years has been fired after being charged with sexually assaulting women at LaGuardia Airport in New York City.

Maxie Oquendo, 40, had reportedly been luring women into bathrooms at the airport under the guise of performing "pat down" screenings in search of weapons. Instead, he was using the ruse as an opportunity to fondle women's private parts.

Reports indicate that Oquendo had been using TSA-approved language and protocols to take advantage of female travelers, telling them that he needed to "scan" their bodies and luggage for security purposes. He would then lift up their shirts, unzip their pants, and fondle them.

"She's clear," Oquendo would say after molesting his victims. "She doesn't have any weapons or knives."

TSA defends culture of molestation; says screeners are held to "highest standards"

Unable to post the $3,000 bail required for his release, Oquendo now sits in jail awaiting a trial. The TSA has since fired him, releasing the following statement in defense of its culture of molestation, which has become incrementally more invasive post-911:

"TSA holds its employees to the highest standards. As such, we expect our employees to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and with respect for the public we serve... TSA is working in close partnership with the Port Authority Police Department in support of this investigation."

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown announced Oquendo's charges, which include second-degree unlawful imprisonment, official misconduct, third-degree sexual abuse, and second-degree harassment.

"The defendant is accused of an egregious abuse of his position as a government screener at LaGuardia Airport to sexually victimize a young woman," Brown stated. "Such alleged conduct cannot, under any circumstances, go unpunished."

Why isn't the entire TSA being charged for regularly molesting airport travelers?

This is what happens when a government agency such as the TSA goes rogue and starts performing naked body scans and full-body pat downs in the name of "safety and security." How is the official TSA pat down process any different than what Oquendo is accused of doing to women traveling through LaGuardia?

If you've traveled through a U.S. airport recently, you probably already know that you're either going to have your naked silhouette put up on display for TSA screeners to ogle or you're going to have a screener's fingers run through your underwear and up your crotch.

This is official TSA policy, by the way, because every crevice of your body is a potential suspect that might be harboring bombs or firearms, which means an hourly-rate government employee has to run his or her hands all across it to diffuse the threat.

Perhaps the TSA is just trying to compete with former Subway spokesman and weight-loss poster child Jared Fogle, who was accused earlier in the summer of producing and possessing child pornography. Deviancy and perversion, after all, is what the TSA has come to be recognized as promoting.

Perhaps the TSA just wants to be recognized alongside sexual offenders like Josh Duggar, who recently admitted to acting "inexcusably" after being charged with molesting young girls, including his younger sisters.

"The fact that TSA pat down procedures now often involve screeners physically touching people's genitals is documented," reads one blog source that documents the extensive history of abuse by TSA agents at U.S. airports.

"Silence is approval. Someone with time and courage should fight these airport rapists. A Constitutional attorney would be great -- someone who knows what they are doing and how to take action."
