Amazon pushes 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and 55 gallons of sex lube on customers after banning Southern memorabilia

(NaturalNews) Amazon's much-ballyhooed Prime Day sale may have generated lots of revenue for the online merchandising giant, but many consumers weren't impressed.
The sale day was a disappointment to thousands of people, who took to Twitter and other social media platforms to voice their displeasure. #PrimeDayFail was a trending topic with some comparing the sale day to a "digital garage sale."
Amazon customers complained that much of what was offered was either useless and undesirable junk or cost the same as normal.
Others pointed out the hypocrisy displayed by Amazon.com when it decided to jump on the political correctness bandwagon regarding the Confederate flag.
Amazon suspended sales of the now-controversial symbol in response to the liberal-backed nationwide push to rewrite history and outlaw the Confederate flag -- a symbol held dear by many who view it as part of a common heritage and not as part of a racist philosophy.
The irony is that, while Amazon chooses to pander to the PC crowd by outlawing a piece of colored cloth, it continues to sell items that many people would find to be far more controversial and inappropriate.
For example, one of the Prime Day specials was a 55-gallon container of sex lubricant. Apparently, Amazon believes that there is a market based on giant orgies that require industrial-size amounts of body lube.
Fifty Shades of Deceit
Amazon was also offering the unrated version of Fifty Shades of Grey at a sale price to its presumably oversexed clientele.
The online mail order monopoly has also been strongly criticized for lying about its reasons for yanking the Confederate flag from its catalog. As another recent Natural News article reported, Amazon claimed that it was forced by the US government to stop selling the flag, a statement which is completely false.
There is no federal law banning the sales of Confederate flags, despite what Amazon sales reps have been telling their customers.
While Amazon defends its right to sell books such as The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: A Child-Lover's Code of Conduct or S&M products designed to brutalize women, it somehow becomes a spineless politically correct entity in the face of popular liberal bandwagon campaigns such as the eradication of the Confederate flag.
There are alternatives to the big online monopolies. You don't have to shop at Amazon and you don't have to depend on Google. Entities like these want to control your lives and have access to all of your personal info so that they can expand their grasp.
They want you to depend on them for everything you purchase or require information about. Google lets you search what it wants you to search and it keeps a record of every site you visit, so that it can sell that information to advertisers. These types of free services are not free at all; in fact, they are designed to take your freedom away.
