Is convenience a trade-off for cancer?

by Derek Henry

(NaturalNews) There are certainly a lot of benefits to the conveniences society has enjoyed in the last few decades. People can whip up a meal in mere minutes or get it delivered to their door; get a hold of anyone pretty much anywhere; travel great distances in short amounts of time; and enjoy light at the flick of a switch.

However, society is just now starting to see the repercussions of this increased convenience and with diseases like cancer rising quickly, people should ask themselves, are these conveniences really worth it?

Microwaved food

Microwaves are a form of electromagnetic radiation that creates an electromagnetic field with a microwave frequency at approximately 2.4 gH. In order for something to be heated in a microwave, it must contain water, as the vibration of those water molecules at an incredible speed is what creates the friction, which is responsible for heating the food.

The structure of these water molecules are torn apart and vigorously deformed. This drastically differs from other methods of cooking, which heat up food by transferring heat from the outside inward.

So what does this mean for your food? Check out these findings that were a result of in-depth research by the Russians after Word War II:

• Microwaving milk and grains produced carcinogenic substances through the conversion of amino acids.
• Microwaving prepared meats causes cancer-causing agents like d-Nitrosodienthanolamines to form.
• Microwaving fruit to defrost it resulted in conversion of glucoside and galactoside fractions into carcinogenic substances.
• Very short exposure of raw, cooked, or frozen vegetables converted their plant alkaloids into carcinogens.

The structural degradation of these foods was found to result in a 60 to 90 percent decreased food value, and significant decreases in bioavailability. Cooking them in conventional packaging also leeches chemicals into the food, creating an even bigger toxic mess.

Try using the good old-fashioned stove instead.

Cell phones

Cell phones are another source of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation, which can be absorbed by tissues and cells that come into close contact with the phone, such as the head and neck. The World Health Organization (WHO) classified radio frequency electromagnetic fields as a Group 2B possible carcinogen.

A Swedish study revealed that people who used cell phones for more than a year were at a 70 percent greater risk of brain cancer for those who used them for a year or less. Those who used them for more than 25 years were found to have a 300 percent greater risk of brain cancer than those who used them for a year or less.

Try and keep a cell phone off your body, use a speakerphone or air tube headset whenever possible, and turn it off when not in use.

Fast food

Fast food is an addiction that many people can't seem to break. The convenience of not having to cook your own food, or even clean up, makes it immediately appealing.

Fast foods are loaded with known cancer causing-agents such as GMOs, nitrites, refined sugars, chemical sweeteners, refined white flours, hydrogenated fats, antibiotics and hormones, and artificial dyes and colors, just to name a few. This chemical- and gut-disturbing cocktail sets up an environment for cancer to flourish.

In addition to these three things, people also have traded cancer for convenience with automobiles, factories, and even vaccines. It's obvious that cancer is a man-made disease, and to reverse or avoid it, people need to navigate a much more natural way to optimal health. For a convenient solution (that promotes abundant health, not disease), look into this online health program.
