Western nations begin criminalizing cash purchases to track citizens in manufactured 'war on terror'

by Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

(NaturalNews) Never letting a good crisis go to waste, the European country of France has announced that it will soon implement restrictive new measures on anonymous cash withdrawals and purchases in the wake of the widely publicized Charlie Hebdo attacks.

Claiming that the freedom to use non-trackable currency facilitates "low-cost terrorism," French Finance Minister Michel Sapin contends that the people of France will have to forego even more of their liberties in order to keep everyone safe -- Hoorah!

In order to fight the manufactured "war on terror," residents of France will now be prohibited from making cash purchases of more than 1,000 euros, down from the current limit of 3,000 euros. Converting euros to other currencies will also be reduced to 1,000 euros, down from the current 8,000-euro limit.

The goal is to force everyone into using only trackable payment systems like credit cards, which allow government spying and surveillance of people's purchasing habits. And this major invasion of personal privacy, claims Sapin, is absolutely necessary to beat all them terrorists!

"It's a terrorism that is low cost to carry out but has major impact," Sapin, a traitor to his own country, is quoted as saying by Reuters. "This low-cost terrorism feeds on fraud, money laundering and petty trafficking."

Banning cash will only make cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin thrive

Something tells me that "low-cost terrorism" also feeds on things like clothing, food, vehicles, mobile phones, computers and much more, since terrorists more than likely use all of these things as well. But it's highly unlikely that any of these items will be banned anytime soon in a major fascist sweep.

No, only cash is being targeted because, let's face it, cash is a major threat to the establishment. Anonymity is a hallmark of freedom, as it keeps rogue government entities from interfering with the private activities of citizens -- by prohibiting cash, governments assume total control over the population.

This is part of the reason why so-called "cryptocurrencies" like Bitcoin are doing so well in today's market environment. Using encrypted, peer-to-peer technology, Bitcoin allows individuals to engage in free-market trading with one another without oppression from central banks and other corrupt managing authorities.

France's decision to further restrict the use of cash, which is inherently absurd as cash is the most tangible form of legal currency, will only fuel the growth of "underground" currency markets like Bitcoin.

"Restrict lead because some of it is used to make bullets," wrote one Zero Hedge commenter, derisively pointing out the absurdity of Sapin's argument in favor of eliminating cash. "Restrict blind dates because participants utilize anonymity. Chips in our heads will make everyone so much more accountable."

Americans need to take a stand now to prevent the elimination of cash as currency

Though the U.S. has yet to implement these same restrictions, the country as a whole is definitely moving in this direction. The "Bank Secrecy Act" already forces FDIC-insured banks to report cash purchases of $10,000 or more to federal authorities in the name of preventing "money laundering."

And with the public already primed to accept gross violations of personal liberty by the government in the name of fighting "terrorism," it is likely only a matter of time before cash is phased out of American commerce as well -- that is, unless American citizens finally wake up and put their rogue government in its place.
