Monsanto for President 2016! A genetically modified candidate to free us from the Constitution

by J. D. Heyes

(NaturalNews) A new YouTube video lampooning the 2016 presidential race "urges" Americans to vote for "Monsanto" for president, the global biotech corporation responsible for the lion's share of the world's genetically modified foods.

"Hi, we're Monsanto," says a man introducing the mock campaign.

"You know all those wonderful things we've done to your food?" he asks sarcastically, as he holds up a watermelon that has been cut in half and hollowed out, and which "screams" as he pulls it apart.

"Well... we're about to do the same thing to you, America," he says, as patriotic music plays in the background and his scene fades to one of an American flag, "by announcing our candidacy for president of these United States."

From there, the scene changes to an "average" male citizen, who sarcastically asks, "But Monsanto, you're a corporation... how can you run for president?"

"Well, citizen," the campaigning man answers, "thanks to recent Supreme Court decisions guaranteeing corporations the same rights as people, our team of lawyers -- who we genetically engineered to never stop working -- have determined that we can actually do this."
