Border Patrol agents being widely infected with diseases; union VP warns all of America at risk

by Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

(NaturalNews) The illegal immigrant situation currently taking place at our nation's borders is rapidly spiraling out of control, according to reports. Border Patrol agents left and right are falling ill with diseases that haven't been seen in the U.S. for decades, and the Vice President of the National Border Patrol Union (NBPU) says all of America is now at risk.

During a recent interview on Fox News' America's Newsroom program, union VP Chris Cabrera explained that the Border Patrol simply cannot keep up with the influx of illegal immigrants pouring across the U.S. border. Many of these children are sick, he says, and are spreading diseases like tuberculosis and scabies to Border Patrol agents trying to figure out how to handle them.

"We had one get bacterial pneumonia a couple days ago," Cabrera explained, referring to one of his fellow agents. "A lot of guys are coming down with scabies or lice from these people, and it's very difficult for our agents."

However, because these illegal immigrants are now being intentionally shipped all across the country, sometimes to places where local officials haven't even been notified, the threat extends beyond just Border Patrol agents. In Cabrera's view, all of America is at risk of catching these diseases, as alien children are quietly dispersed throughout the country rather than sent home.

"The Border Patrol is playing catchup," added Cabrera.

"We're trying to catch up to this instead of getting out in front of it, and unfortunately we're having a lot of diseases coming in, coming through, and some of them we haven't seen in decades in this country. And we're worried that they're going to start to spread rampant throughout the United States, especially if we're releasing people that have these diseases."

Vaccine-pushers nowhere to be found as alien children spread infectious disease nationwide

The real public health ramifications of this ongoing crisis definitely put all the political bickering into perspective. Somehow the "But they're children!" argument fades into obscurity when our own families and children are threatened by actual diseases being spread right now by people who are occupying our land illegally.

Also missing from the conversation is all the typical whining from the pro-vaccine crowd about disease "outbreaks." These are the folks that are quick to blame the unvaccinated when a handful of already-vaccinated children contracts a minor illness. But when our own Border Patrol agents are threatened with potential death by illegal immigrants spreading exotic diseases, we should all just roll over and be quiet -- "what, you hate children?"

All this political posturing, however, will be worthless once the resultant disease pandemic from this crisis fully manifests itself. If nothing is done to actually address this problem of diseased immigrant children flooding our borders by the thousands, and it is all just swept under the dubious rug of "compassion" with no real action taken, the public health consequences will be disastrous.

Adding to the threat is the constant removal of Border Patrol agents from the field, as the need for more processing agents increases. The result of this is fewer agents at the actual borders, leading to even more influx of illegals carrying disease.

"I think the number one thing that needs to be done is mandatory detention and mandatory removal," Cabrera stated, offering his solution to the problem. "[This] will send a clear message that 'we are sending you back, we're not going to let you stay here.' Once that happens, then I think the floodgates will stop."
