Harrassed! Florida police jail innocent man 56 times for trespassing at his place of employment during work hours

(NaturalNews) Racial profiling is still very much present in the United States, as Earl Sampson can attest.
The 28-year-old Miami Gardens resident has been stopped by police 258 times in four years, subjected to unwarranted search more than 100 times, and jailed 56 times - all for going to work.
Sampson is now fighting back, and has filed a civil rights lawsuit against the police department, which has stopped him at least once a week for the last four years. The suit is backed up by video surveillance of police activity taken at the convenience store where he works.
According to the Miami Herald, the footage is not only beyond legal; it is also disturbing.
One video shows Sampson being harassed by police while simply refilling a cooler inside the store. Another shows him being grabbed while taking out trash, and yet another time being searched against the wall without provocation or probable cause.
Both store employees and the convenience store owner, Alex Saleh have repeatedly told police that Sampson is an employee at the 207 Quicktop.
According to Saleh, the police harassment doesn't stop with Sampson. The business itself has been subjected to unlawful search, with police caught on video snooping behind the register and rifling through papers without invitation or cause.
Customers simply entering or leaving the premises have also been subjected to search or stopped and questioned extensively, even when the business is open and the owner is present. Saleh states the entire community has had similar problems, including other businesses in the area.
He cites the lack of communication and a working relationship between the community and police in an area of the city drenched in high crime.
As for Sampson, for all his arrests, there is only a single conviction on his record; for marijuana possession. His boss states that he is a quiet, humble man and an excellent employee (when he is allowed to do his job).
The police department has declined to comment on the case at this time, simply stating their commitment to protecting the community and upholding the law.
