Country singers slam Obamacare at Country Music Awards with hilarious spoof

(NaturalNews) A couple of country music's finest made their voices heard about the ongoing Obamacare debacle at the recent 2013 Country Music Awards (CMAs), staging a hilarious Obamacare spoof that was met with thunderous laughter from the appreciative audience. Country music icons Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood together performed the skit, known as "Obamacare by Morning," which took specific aim at the failures of the Obamacare website to function at the launch of the exchanges.
The spoof opens with Brad doubling over from a feigned back injury right in the middle of a duet with Carrie, who questions him about whether or not he is alright. After some humorous back-and-forth banter, Brad explains to Carrie that he thinks he needs to see a doctor. Carrie gleefully responds by asking Brad if he has "that Obamacare," sending the audience into a clamorous roar, to which he responds, "Obamacare?! What's that?"
"Oh, it's great!" yells Carrie, "I started signing up last Thursday and I'm almost done," she retorts, pulling Brad aside to a computer where she begins to guide him through the process of signing up at the exchange. The two then attempt to navigate through the "spinning" and "smoking" on the screen, a bit meant to draw humor from the fact that the Obamacare website was essentially dead on arrival from the moment it was released.
When this attempt to sign Brad up for Obamacare ultimately fails, the duo suddenly breaks out into song, lamenting how it could take all night to finally get signed up. Obamacare is no laughing matter
While humorous, this parody is actually fairly tame when considering the full ramifications of what Obamacare entails. Besides the millions of Americans that will lose their existing health care coverage, most of the insurance plans included on the Obamacare exchanges will not provide the same quality of care that many people are used to, a fact recently divulged by Watchdog.org.
As far as the natural health community is concerned, Obamacare will provide even less coverage for so-called "alternative" procedures and modalities, which will force more people to go the conventional route of drugs and surgery. Either that or these folks will have to pay out of pocket for the same treatments that were covered before but are no longer considered acceptable under Obamacare.
It is these latter points that many people fail to take into consideration when discussing matters relating to Obamacare. If Obamacare is implemented as planned, access to alternative treatments will surely diminish. Between the "taxes" that non-compliant folks will be compelled to pay, resulting in less disposable income for them, and the enormous deductibles and monthly costs that Obamacare insurance holders will be forced to pay, it is a lose-lose situation for virtually everyone.
