Paul Ekman, genius behind hit TV series Lie to Me, on Mental Health Exposed

by Mike Bundrant

(NaturalNews) If you've watched the hit television series Lie to Me, you have been introduced to the work of Dr. Paul Ekman.

A true pioneer psychologist, Dr. Ekman set out to discover the universal human emotions and their expression. What he learned is truly amazing.

There are seven human emotions common to all cultures. There are also detectable, universal facial expressions that go with each emotion. Again, these facial expressions have been proven universal. They cross all boundaries of individuality and culture.

On the June 12, 2013 episode of Mental Health Exposed, I had the distinct honor to interview Dr. Paul Ekman himself and ask him about how he discovered the universal emotions, as well as discuss the show Lie to Me and several other questions I have been curious about since my days in high school.

Listen to the June 12, 2013 episode, which is permanently archived and ready to be downloaded. I am also a student of Dr. Ekman. His online courses, in my opinion, should be required training for anyone who is in the business of understanding and helping others.

Also on this episode, Dr. Wes Youngberg discusses adrenal fatigue and its treatment and Jake Eagle of Reology.org and I discuss the very interesting assumption that people always do the best they can with what they have. Do they?

Lots of great stuff on this episode. Don't miss it!
