Understand the Enzyme Cancer Connection

by Paul Fassa

(NaturalNews) Most nutritionally aware health practitioners agree that the order of importance for human health is oxygen, water, enzymes, minerals, and vitamins. Ironically, there is much ado about minerals and vitamins, but not much attention goes to enzymes.

Enzymes are macromolecules or proteins that help us digest our food and act as catalysts for almost every biochemical metabolic cellular activity in our bodies. Without enzymes, minerals and vitamins won`t work. Enzyme deficiency can lead to cancer, and cancer can be cured by enzyme therapy.

Digestive Enzymes

Digestive enzymes are needed to break down foods and assimilate their nutrients. Eating raw plant foods preserves the nutrients and enzymes lost with cooking. Slow speed juicing enables nutrients and enzymes to be both preserved and concentrated.

Chewing food well enables the saliva to produce more digestive enzymes. The organ responsible for the manufacture and distribution of enzymes is the pancreas, located under the stomach and linked to the beginning of the small intestines.

Obviously, by chewing more and ingesting whole raw plant food and pure juices the pancreas strains less and is able to produce more metabolic enzymes. Digestive supplements are also available to be taken with meals.

Proteolytic Enzymes

Proteolytic enzymes are produced by the pancreas, which serves up digestive enzymes to the small intestines. If too much processed and cooked foods are hastily eaten, the demand for digestive enzymes over burdens the pancreas, initiating an unhealthy chain reaction that allows toxins to gather in the body.

Plant foods usually contribute amino acids that the body synthesizes into complete proteins.
However, proteins from meats are already complete and very difficult to digest with most digestive enzymes. They require proteolytic enzymes. Cooking meats destroys any existing enzymes, thus demanding more production from the pancreas and potentially hampering metabolic proteolytic enzyme production needed for other purposes.

Enzymes and Cancer

Proteolytic enzymes are able to break down the walls of cancer cells and allow the immune system to handle them easily. Heavy meat eating may demand too many proteolytic enzymes to break down those complete proteins, which are needed to check the cancer cells normally floating around in our bodies.

Heavy dosing of proteolytic enzyme supplements away from meals has succeeded with even terminal cancer patients. These enzymes, which also digest complete proteins, rip up cancer cell walls, leaving the cancer cells vulnerable to the immune system.

Despite contrary concerns, metabolic enzyme supplements are not destroyed by the stomach`s digestive acids, according to Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez. Dr. Gonzalez is currently practicing enzyme therapy on cancer patients in New York legally under FDA clinical trial guidelines using his own specially prepared proteolytic enzymes and metabolic therapy.

But years ago, a Texas dentist named William Donald Kelley, despite continual heavy harassment from the Medical Mafia, paved the way for curing cancer with enzyme therapy by first curing his own pancreatic cancer, then proceeding to cure others with varying forms of cancer.

Kelly`s research was based on a published paper by John Beard, an early 20th Century Scottish embryologist who noticed that placenta cells stopped forming when the fetus began producing pancreatic enzymes. Beard made a connection to enzymes and cancer cells, and successfully experimented on eliminating cancer in animals and humans with injections of pancreatic juices.

Conclusion

SAD (Standard American Diet) contributes to enzyme depletion, which can lead to cancer. No wonder pancreatic cancer is such a lethal fast spreading form of cancer. It`s as though the cancer cells invaded the armory and destroyed the weapons!

Proteolytic enzyme replacement is a solution worthy of inclusion among alternative cancer treatments.
