What Causes Cancer?
According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), "Some kinds of cancer are caused by things people do." The ACS suggests that smoking and drinking alcohol may be the cause... especially if an individual does both activities. In addition, the ACS says, "Radiation (x-rays) can cause cancer. But the x-rays used by the doctor or dentist are safe." Now that statement would be funny if it were used by a comedian. Finally, they warn us about "too much exposure to sunlight" and "certain DNA changes" ...but not one word is mentioned about nutrition. Why?
What are our treatment options?
Again, according to the American Cancer Society, the top 3 choices are chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Clearly, these options don't work well for most cancer patients.
