Fujitsu debuts palm vein authentication technology

The biometric palm vein authentication technology from Fujitsu will debut in a public library in Naka city, and eliminate the use of library cards. The technology has a high level of accuracy and is contactless (and therefore hygienic).
Fujitsu announced recently that it will use its biometric palm vein authentication technology in a public library in Naka city (Ibaraki prefecture, Japan).
