by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

Lewisburg, Tenn., is the projected site of a new biodiesel plant that will be built by Agri Energy Management, Inc.

The biodiesel fuel plant will produce 5 million gallons of biodiesel fuel per year. The company has bought and optioned a little more than 41 acres in the Lewisburg Industrial Park and plans to eventually have 20 plants, averaging 4,000 square feet each, in operation. With those 20 in operation, the company expects to have the capacity to produce 140 million gallons of biodiesel fuel yearly. The company didn't announce how many people it would initially hire or give a target completion date for the first of the 20 plants. With 20 plants in operation, the company expects to employ 80 people. Biodiesel is an alternative fuel produced from domestic renewable resources such as soybean oil, animal fats and recycled restaurant grease. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but can be blended with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. Agri Energy Management Inc. was formed with Allen Wilson of Nashville as president, Roy Moore of Memphis as chief financial officer and Kelly Maloney of Green Bay, Wis. Micheal R. Tarr II is chairman and CEO. Lewisburg is located in Marshall County and is about 48 miles southeast of Nashville and 21 miles southeast of Columbia.
