Dr. Debra L. Bemis of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons has completed a study that suggests the herbal extract Zyflamend can reduce the growth of cancer cells in the prostate by 78 percent.

The study also reports that Zyflamend, which is an olive-oil based extract, not only suppresses prostate cancer cell growth, but also causes the cells to self-destruct. The results were attained from lab cultures used in the study. The study's lead investigator, Dr. Debra L.
