Institute researchers develop new cancer treatment therapy

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

Based on research from Johns Hopkins and the National Cancer Institute, the A.P. John Cancer Institute has developed a cancer treatment known as Controlled Amino Acid Therapy (CAAT).

It's a known fact that scientific studies conducted by physicians of prestigious institutions such as the National Cancer Institute and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine have discovered the overwhelming benefits of bio-nutritional complimentary therapies in the treatment of cancer. For more than 45 years, the A.P. John Cancer Institute has researched the causation, prevention and treatment of cancer. The CAAT protocol reduces the total amounts of glucose in the daily diet and includes supplements such as acetic acid, citric acid and fructose, all of which prevent cancer cells from metabolizing glucose, by inhibiting a process called Glycolysis. Dr. Marco Rabinovitz of the National Cancer Institute published a study in 1995 showing that a deficiency in the amino acid called Tryptophan shuts down the energy supply to cancerous cells preventing them from pumping out the chemotherapy drugs designed to kill them off. The CAAT protocol reduces the amount of Glucose in the daily diet by including such supplements as acetic acid, citric acid and fructose, all which prevent cancer cells from metabolizing Glucose, by inhibiting a process called Glycolysis. The search for drugs which inhibit Glycolysis is now one of the most modern areas of cancer research. The A.P. John Cancer Institute was the first organization to introduce to the scientific world Glycolysis as a target for attacking cancer. Chemotherapy drugs like 5 Fluorouracil (5FU) and Methotrexate inhibit the growth of cancer cells by interfering with DNA synthesis. It has been long known that cancer cells must synthesize new blood vessels in order to grow and spread to other parts of the body. -- ProFem helps shut down the production of Growth hormone that in turn stimulates the liver to produce a hormone called Insulin-Like-Growth-Factor (IGF).
