Bluetooth cell phone headsets make driving and talking simple
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
Bluetooth enabled headsets offer freedom of movement, clear sound and most last longer than traditional headsets. Many drivers utilize them where it is illegal to drive while using a hand-held phone.
With the so many people on the cell phone today it is common to see drivers talking on the phone while driving.
In New Jersey, for example, last summer they have passed a law that said that a hand held phone while driving was banned.
The state of Minnesota has an all out ban on cell phones while driving; the law says "Provisional driver may not operate a vehicle while using a cell phone".
(eff. 1/06). The other states will permit cell phone if it is not being held to your ear. You can still use a cell phone driving if you use a headset. The wireless headsets are popular due to the new Bluetooth technology. With the combination of the Bluetooth technology in your cell phone and headset it allows your headset to automatically connect to your cell phone without any set up.
Headsets are not the only use for the wireless Bluetooth technology; there are currently over 1,000 different manufacturing applications using the Bluetooth technology.
For example, automobiles are using the Bluetooth wireless technology to build cell phone connection through the car radio.
Features to look for are the battery talk time and the distance for the set to be away from the phone and still work.
Also a consideration is the weight of the unit, as some customer complains of the discomfort of the weight on their ear.
After looking over many of the different models out there, here are some that showed some customer satisfaction on Amazon's website.
The Motorola HS820 Bluetooth wireless headset - Hematite Gray With Bluetooth wireless technology, devices work together even up to 10 meters (30 feet) away with 6 hours of talk time.
