Epson introduced the Stylus Photo R240 Series, a stylish home photo printer specifically designed for novice digital camera users.
Featuring a colour preview display for ease of use, high quality photographs can be created more quickly and cost-effectively than at the photo-lab.
The Epson Stylus Photo R240 Series features an intuitive interface and colour LCD preview screen, enabling you to navigate the printer's features easily.
The screen and interface work together to allow you to select, view and then print your photos with ease.
Photos can be printed direct from a memory card, via PictBridge or with a USB enabled digital camera, so there is no need for a PC.
The new Epson printer gives photo-lab quality thanks to Epson's Micro Piezo technology, which delivers an optimised resolution of 5760x1440 dpi on suitable media.
With Variable Size Droplet Technoloy, it is able to create droplets as small as 2pl for crisp and defined images.
In addition, you don't need to wait around for your snaps since 24 borderless 10 x 15 cm photos can be produced in only 20 minutes.
To ensure photos are printed exactly as expected, Epson's PhotoEnhancetechnology will automatically detect the type of scene and adjust the colour accordingly.
This is a key feature for inexperienced photographers, allowing them to create professional looking glossy photos every time.
