Expo director claims natural products offer cancer protection

It is a proven fact that use of natural products has helped in the treatment of cancer, says Girish Dabrai, Managing Director of Global Links that is organising the third edition of Middle East Natural and Organic Products Expo in Dubai from December 6 to 8 at the Grand Hyatt Convention Centre.
"The show has attracted over 250 exhibitors from 50 countries who will showcase a wide range of organic and natural products ranging from health, beauty, cosmetics, baby care and organic food to furniture and fabrics," said Dabrai.
The exhibition is being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Zayed Complex for Herbal Research and Traditional Medicine, the Ministry of Health and cooperation of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (Ifoam).
Over 9,000 visitors comprising buyers, importers, distributors and wholesalers from all over the Middle East, the Pan Arab region, the Indian subcontinent, the Levant region, North Africa and CIS countries are expected to be part of the three-day exhibition, said Dabrai.
"The global market for natural products is estimated at over $150 billion, with an encouraging growth rate predicted for the Middle East markets as well.
A series of conferences and seminars focusing on the industries supporting natural and organic products globally and in the Middle East will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
The show is set to edify visitors and encourage trade on a global platform.
Leading international experts will take part in a specialised conference on natural and organic products.
The conference, organised by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (Ifoam) and the Organic Trade Association (OTA) will focus on discussing key aspects of the flourishing natural and organic products industry in the Middle East.
