Corporations turning to stress management to boost efficiency
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
The Allahabad Management Association provided a day-long workshop on "Stress Management for Efficiency and health" in response to a new trend among Indian corporations looking to increase their productivity by lowering employee stress levels.
Stress management has become the new focus for efficiency and health of executives in the corporate world.
Besides being a 'major killer,' research now shows that in a very big way, stress is adversely affecting the efficiency, productivity and overall effectiveness of individuals at work and at home across the entire spectrum of society.
In such circumstances, training in stress management is no more an option; it is a necessity.
Realizing this need, Allahabad Management Association (AMA), organized a full-day workshop on "Stress Management for Efficiency and health' recently.
The workshop was conducted by Commodore SPS Dalal (Retd), VSM; a trainer and founder director of the stress management research institute, Noida.
CMDE Dalal mentioned that Yoga as a 'comprehensive health system' offers the most suitable solution to enable people to prevent as well as release stress.
Practical sessions evoked enthusiastic response from the participants, who reported instant relief and relaxation.
