Catherine Zeta-Jones says she keeps her kids away from sugar
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
Proving herself a sugar-free diet advocate, Oscar-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones recently told a reporter that she doesn't allow her kids to eat candy and rarely lets them drink juice.
Hurrah for actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, who shuns candy in her household.
"I don't give them kid food," the actress tells Life magazine, according to the Associated Press story picked up in Chicago Tribune and Canada's NationalPost.com.
When my kids have juice, it's like they're having their first taste of champagne," says Zeta-Jones, who with her husband Michael Douglas, has two kids, Dylan, 5, and Carys, 2 1/2.
Zeta-Jones -- who won an Oscar for her role in 2002's "Chicago," -- stars in "The Legend of Zorro," with Antonio Banderas, which opened Friday.
Let's hope other celebrities follow the example set by Zeta-Jones.
