Indian officials recommend morning yoga sessions for healthy living

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

The discipline of yoga is spiritual, mental and physical, and in Dubai, this practice is often undertaken in public parks, just after sunrise.

Have you ever driven past the park opposite the British Council in the mornings, before sunrise? If you have, and saw a whole bunch of people going through some graceful, flowing movements it's not the local version of any Russian or European ballet. An ancient Indian philosophy and a way of life. It could also be an Indian version of the ballet. Actually it's a series of mental, spiritual and physical exercises that helps you control your mind and body. It's also a fact that yoga cleanses the body of toxins, improves muscle tone and blood circulation. Yoga --- which he has been practising from the age of 13 --- is not a hobby for him but a way of life, about giving something back to society. He taught yoga in Dubai from 1998 to 2003 and then decided to go back and teach this discipline to the people of his state in Kerala, India. Being forced out of his own backyard was a blessing in disguise. While learning more computer progamming and at the same time giving spiritual discourses at various institutions he met Shilpa, a Kannadiga actress. Pratheep and Shilpa made some kind of a mental connection which culminated in them getting married early this year. He would have settled down in Bangalore or somewhere in Karnataka if his disciples here hadn't been clamouring for his return. Although Michelle, a spritely French lady, and Ajith Kumar had been running the morning yoga classes well in Pratheep's absence, the guru decided to return to the UAE. The parents feel the kids are going the materialistic way and away from them in all aspects. So Pratheep is planning an evening session for children and another one for people who are sick and find no relief from allopathy and other forms of modren medicine.
