Borneo provides alternative health treatments to special needs children
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
Pusat Ehsan, a medical center in Borneo, has been giving free massages and acupoint therapy, a needle-less version of acupuncture, to children with special medical needs.
A number of special needs children were given free massage and acupuncture treatment at Pusat Ehsan recently.
Becky, an experienced masseuse and acupuncturist from Tienshi Sdn Bhd had been visiting the children for over a week.
According to Becky, special needs children require stimulation of the muscles and joints in order to assist them in their rehabilitation process.
Becky, who is also providing her services to various children with a range of ailments, added that children suffering from blindness would particularly benefit from massage therapies because they are more sensitive and responsive to stimulation.
"Acupoint, a new technique of providing acupuncture without the use of needles, is especially convenient for special children," Becky said.
According to Simon Rajendran, a facilitator at Pusat Ehsan, Tienshi Sdn Bhd had also been providing the centre with various supplements for the special children.
