Nutritionist encourages consumers to find online fast food information

McDonalds now says it will display nutritional information for most of its food products starting next year, but there is a way to get all of the information right now.

"Food, once it's broken down into its nutritional constitute, are actually messenger molecules for gene expressions," Meyer says.
"You want to make sure what you eat is highly nutritious."
Company websites, like McDonalds, post their nutritional listings.
If a cheeseburger is your fast food of choice, you can see that you're eating 310 calories, 110 of those coming from fat.
Kentucky Fried Chicken also lets you find out what your favorite food's nutritional value is.
Individual servings of popcorn chicken will supply you with 380 calories, and 21 grams of fat.
Burgerking.com lets you "have it your way" by allowing you to create your own burger, and pick exactly what you want on top.
