Health experts track increase in lyme disease cases in Martha's Vineyard
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
A Martha's Vineyard hospital recently reported an increase in cases of the tick-borne illness lyme disease, and health experts fear an island-wide epidemic may be on the horizon, The Vineyard Gazette reports.
A course on cancer genetics will take place in Bertinoro di Romagna, Italy, from 1 to 5 October.
Organised by the European School of Genetic Medicine, which is managed by the European Genetics Foundation, this course is part of a wider initiative to offer advanced training in the fields of genetics and genomics in medicine.
After the successful European opposition to BRCA1 and BRCA2 patents, the scientific community will discuss gene patents for diagnostics and drug discovery in a round table that will be also accessible through a webcast system.
