Woman claims weight loss success on a "McDonald's diet"
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
North Carolina native Merab Morgan claims that she dropped from 227 lbs to 190 lbs by eating only Big Macs, ice creams and salads from McDonalds, and The Scotsman reports she memorized the fast food restaurant's calorie chart and limited herself to 1,400 calories a day.
IT IS possible to eat at McDonald's for 90 days and lose weight, a dieter in the United States has claimed.
Merab Morgan from North Carolina embarked on the project after watching Morgan Spurlock's documentary, Super Size Me, which she felt insulted the intelligence of fat people by implying they could not resist opting for huge portions.
She claims she lost 37lb on the unorthodox diet by avoiding chips and sticking to Big Macs, ice cream and salads.
"I thought it's two birds with one stone, to lose weight and to prove a point for the little fat people," she said.
Morgan, 35, memorised the calorie counts in every menu item and limited herself to 1,400 calories a day.
She never struggled to locate her next meal under the big golden arches.
She spent up to 6 a day on food, sometimes ordering her three meals at once.
