IBS sufferers find relief in hypnotherapy
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
IBS sufferers have found pain relief in a hypnotherapy CD released by TL recordings.
A WARRINGTON hypnotherapy company is bringing relief to sufferers of a painful condition believed to afflict a fifth of the population of the Western World.
TL Recordings has produced a CD to help sufferers to control the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, and - with government help - has secured £40,000 of new business overseas.
And the company, which produces CDs for other conditions, including stress, has just won the innovation and research prize at the Warrington Business Awards, for its breast cancer CD now being used by 92 hospitals.
The IBS programme was developed by TL's managing director Michael Mahoney, below, a qualified clinical hypnotherapist, who runs a private local practice, and whose services have been used on a consultancy basis at a local hospital for three years.
The 100-day programme of five 30-minute recordings is designed to train sufferers to control their digestive system in their own home.
It had been sold to 16 countries and with the help of UK Trade & Investment, the government organisation which provides support for British firms trading abroad, it has secured £40,000 of overseas orders - now selling to a further 18 countries.
This help enabled TL to showcase its programme at major medical shows in Wisconsin and Chicago, and the company also received support through UKTI's Passport to Export programme.
Mr Mahoney said: "Before joining the programme we were doing quite well in terms of export sales but we knew we could be doing more business.
"Through the scheme, we learnt how the export system works, improved our website and mixed with many other small businesses in a similar position to ourselves."
