Exercise reduces prostate cancer risk
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
A new study has found that men who received at least three hours of exercise weekly have a 70 percent less chance of developing prostate cancer.
Older men who got at least three hours of vigorous exercise a week had almost a 70 percent lower risk of advanced prostate cancer than similar men who did little or no vigorous exercise.
Researchers found no link between prostate cancer and non- vigorous exercise.
Nor did they see any effect of exercise (even vigorous) in men younger than 65.
What to do: Do the most (and most vigorous) exercise you safely can.
But remember that even moderate exercise (climbing stairs and walking, for example) can reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, colon cancer, diverticular disease, osteoporosis, an enlarged prostate, and more.
