Hybrid cabs to debut in New York

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

The NYC taxi and limousine commission has required the use of city cabs with more efficient fuels.

The commission had to act because the City Council ordered the TLC to reserve a share of new taxi medallions for vehicles that use cleaner fuels. The new vehicles could be on the street starting in September. The approved models include a Lexus and a Highlander but you will notice they're a little snug. The biggest hybrid has about seven inches less leg room in the rear seat than current taxis.
