Too many adults skip lunch
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
A new study states that too many adults are skipping lunch or not spending enough time on it.
The survey, commissioned by New Orleans-area-based Smoothie King, which features smoothies made of blended fruits, juices and nutritional supplements; interviewed 1,000 adults ages 18 to 54 about their lunchtime habits.
The survey found 43 percent view lunch as the least favorite eating experience and 58 percent will skip it altogether if too busy.
Half of all individuals surveyed saw lunch as an opportunity to grab a quick bite or to keep working, while 82 percent regularly spend 30 minutes or less on lunch and 43 percent spend 15 minutes or less on lunch.
However, 35 percent of the respondents admitted eating lunch while driving or working is a challenge to eating a healthy meal.
