White lobster found in England
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
A white lobster found in England is being studied to see whether she can produce other lobsters like herself.
Fisherman Lloyd Turner said he was dumbfounded to spot the incorrectly named albino among his catch, and hustled it to the National Lobster Hatchery in Padstow.
He told The Independent he never gave a thought of selling it for food, as the odds of finding one are about one in 100 million.
Hatchery manager Dylan Taylor said the crustacean can't be a true albino because it doesn't have pink or red eyes, but he said white lobsters are the only ones whose meat doesn't turn pink when cooked.
"A white lobster would be very visible to predators," Taylor said.
"Considering we think she is aged between 8 and 12 years old, it is a surprise she is still alive."
