Annual naturopathic convention to be venue for diet discussion

Diet and nutrition as it relates to health and disease will top the list of topics at the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians' 20th annual convention in Phoenix, Ariz., August 24 to 27, according to NutraUSA.
More than one third of US adults use complementary and alternative medicine, according to a nationwide survey carried out as part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) 2002 National Health Interview Survey.
Almost 20 per cent of these take natural products, such as herbs or other botanicals.
