by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

Batteries used in some 250,000 laptop computers were recalled Wednesday by Fujitsu Siemens, who cited potential overheating leading to fire as the reason, reports the Microsoft Network.

Computer maker Fujitsu Siemens said Wednesday it was recalling the batteries for some 250,000 laptop computers, citing a risk of overheating that could lead to fire. The company said it had received four reports of the G1L1 batteries overheating. Customers can exchange the defective batteries, which were installed in four different laptop models, free of charge. Spokeswoman Amy Flecher said most of the laptops concerned were sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
