Bush now approves legalization of selling weapons to Iraq

Weren't we just invading Iraq because they supposedly had weapons? Now Bush wants to sell more weapons to Iraq. I guess it's okay that Iraq has weapons as long as they buy them from us. It's no surprise that Bush's buddies are all board members and shareholders in the most dominant weapons manufacturers, is it? By the way, can you guess what the justification of selling more weapons to Iraq is? It's for "world peace" of course! Read it yourself...

Pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including section 503(a) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended, and section 3(a)(1) of the Arms Export Control Act, as amended, I hereby find that the furnishing of defense articles and services to Iraq will strengthen the security of the United States and promote world peace.
