It's interesting, too: Bush wages war in the name of God, yet God would never have one nation wage war against another under such pretense. Then again, organized religion has never really followed the Bible in the first place: throughout history, it's been more about conquer and control than love and forgiveness. Just ask the Incas, if you can find any.
What really amazes me about Bush and religion is how practically all religious folks in the U.S. automatically vote for Bush simply because their church tells them to. They never ask the question, "Is Bush a loving, compassionate leader, worthy of association with Christ?
Well, duh. You figure it out...
If Jesus Christ was in Bush's place and he was the president of the United States, would he have taken any of the actions that Bush has taken, including the war in Iraq?
The war on Iraq was apparently undertaken because God whispered in Bush's ear that war was the only way to solve the problem.
The Bible says not to lie, and Christ reinforced that message since lying destroys the very fabric of our civilization.
