University lectures now available in audio and movie files
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
Coventry University now offers lecture files in digital audio format, playable on any iPod, and movie clips that can play on 3G phones.
Students at Coventry University can miss lectures safe in the knowledge that they will be able to catch up later by listening to them on their iPods.
The university has kicked off a scheme that allows students to download MP3 recordings of lectures to play on their iPods.
The students can also play movie clips from lectures on their 3G phones.
The scheme is designed to provide a "safety net" for those students who find attending lectures before midday difficult.
It will be free to download the information.
Media tutor Harold Fricker told The Sun: "We are not kidding ourselves - there will always be lazy students who prefer to stay in bed or let their minds wander during the seminars."
