Military scandal: letters from the front were orchestrated

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

In addition to U.S. soldiers being threatened with court martials for speaking their mind about what's really happening in Iraq, it turns out that the good news -- at least part of it -- has been orchestrated.

Small newspapers scattered throughout the country received the exact same letter, but apparently signed by different soldiers. Further investigation showed that while some soldiers actually signed the letters, others had never even seen the them.

This is just part of the reason why Bush's war with Iraq is actually a two-front war: there's the physical war in Iraq, and then there's the propaganda war at home.

Letters from hometown soldiers describing their successes rebuilding Iraq have been appearing in newspapers across the country as U.S. public opinion on the mission sours. The Olympian received two identical letters signed by different hometown soldiers: Spc. The five-paragraph letter talks about the soldiers' efforts to re-establish police and fire departments, and build water and sewer plants in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk, where the unit is based. Marois, 23, told his family he signed the letter, said Moya Marois, his stepmother.
