Columnist reviews SimplyHires.com, a low-frills career search engine

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

More and more companies are turning to the internet to post jobs and find workers, but About columnist Wendy Boswell finds many job search sites too cluttered, which is why she like SimplyHired.com; a no-frills, easy-to-use job search engine with few superfluous features and humorous error messages.

Found yet another job search engine, called SimplyHired.com, right now in beta. I love the look of this; it's so, well, simple. A nice change from the crowded screens of many other specialized job search engines. Pretty much like any other job search engine, however, I noticed that they tended to pick up a few more jobs in the out of the way places that I was looking at. The SimplyHired Forums look to be relatively busy; it was fun to eavesdrop on some of the conversations going on here. All in all, a nice little job search engine; I would suggest especially the My Jobs feature. You search for jobs, then next to each listing, you have a ratings system of between "not interested" to five stars being the most interested. Once you start rating these jobs, you are creating your own page of Favorites, and you can scratch notes underneath each one. This is nice for remembering which ones you're looking at or have applied for already.
