Physical exercise classes for toddlers prepare them for a life of health and fitness

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

It's a brilliant idea: teach toddlers how to move their bodies using a combination of yoga poses, obstacle courses, floor tumbling and cardiovascular exercise. And the toddlers love it!

Every young child should be exposed to this kind of fun. It sets them up for a life of enjoying physical exercise while avoiding obesity, osteoporosis and all the other diseases that come from lack of body movement. There's no doubt that the toddlers experiencing these classes today will form healthy, joyful lifelong habits.

Naturally, most doctors think it's hogwash. They remain clueless about the importance of teaching toddlers how to enjoy moving their bodies. You can't blame them: doctors aren't taught exercise physiology in med school.

SEATTLE - Lucy Brown somersaults backward down a ramp, leaps over a mat, rolls across a platform, jumps a series of hoops, squats into a yoga pose and hops over a row of cones. And all with diaper intact.
