Roomba 530 Vacuum Robot Product Review
A NaturalNews PhotoTour by Mike Adams
Here's what you see when you first open the box for a new Roomba robot. For this review, I purchased a Roomba 530 at a local retailer. Inside the box, you can see the main components in the package, including a charger, accessories and the Roomba robot itself.
One reason I decided to do this review is because robotic technology promises to greatly enhance the quality of life of consumers. If a robot like this can really save you time while improving the cleanliness of your home, then it has major implications for not just helping you get more hours out of your day, but also for allowing you to more easily live in a cleaner, healthier environment.
We already benefit from several household "robots" that do cleaning chores for us, although most of us wouldn't think of them as robots. The dishwasher in your kitchen is a dish cleaning robot that saves you the time and effort normally required to do dishes.
Similarly, the clothes washer and dryer are both stationary robots that clean your clothes, saving you hours of time on a task that's very important for personal cleanliness. (Too bad there's not an ironing robot yet, huh?)
Roomba is similar to those other cleaning robots in the fact that it creates a cleaner home environment for you, picking up dust, hair, dirt and even small bits of trash that might normally never get picked up from your floor. It's different, though, in the fact that Roomba is a mobile robot: It navigates your home with wheels and sensors. That makes it innovative enough to justify a closer look.
So let's take a closer look at the technology behind the Roomba robot. Click NEXT to continue…
