Election 2016: Hillary Clinton is owned by Monsanto, Goldman Sachs

Hillary Clinton

(NaturalNews) The multinational banking firm, the Goldman Sachs Group, can no longer lend private political donations to the campaign of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The news comes in light of the fact that top executives within the firm have for years been permitted to donate to Hillary Clinton's campaign.

The new policy, effective September 1, applies to certain campaigns only, and is reportedly an effort "to remove any implication of so-called 'pay to play,'" according to Fortune magazine.

The rule only applies to Goldman Sachs partners. In 2012, the bank was forced to pay $12 million in a settlement involving a former banker from Boston involved in a conflict of interest.

Goldman Sachs suddenly wants to stop pay to play corruption

The banker "had picked up bond underwriting business in the state while working for and contributing funds to the campaign of a then Massachusetts state treasurer and governor-hopeful, Tim Cahill."

The policy makes it illegal for partners to donate money to politicians running for state or local offices, or to individuals running for president. The memo specifically mentions the Trump-pence campaign as one of the campaigns Goldman Sachs is prevented from donating to.

Banned donations include: "Any federal candidate who is a sitting state or local official (e.g., governor running for president or vice president, such as the Trump/Pence ticket, or mayor running for Congress), including their Political Action Committees (PACs)," according to copies of the memo obtained by Fortune.

Donations to the Clinton campaign are still permitted, of course. This is because Democratic vice presidential nominee, Tim Kaine, is a Virginia senator, "and not considered a local official under Goldman's rules."

Goldman Sachs CEO has a history of supporting Hillary Clinton

On the other hand, the memo states that partners are prohibited from donating to the Virginia Democratic party, which Kaine is a member of.

The firm's CEO, Lloyd Blankfein, has not expressed support for a candidate in the 2016 Presidential Election. However, in the past he has been known to support Clinton, donating to her campaign against Obama in 2008, as well in other circumstances.

Goldman Sachs is the sixth largest donor to Clinton's campaign, forking out over $912,609 according to data from 1999–2016. Blankfein and the banking firm "paid Hillary Clinton $675,000 in personal speaking fees, paid Bill Clinton $1,550,000 in personal speaking fees, and donated between $250,000 and $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation," The Intercept reported on March 27.

Monsanto is also known to have provided large donations to the Clinton campaign. Reports from the Federal Election Commission show that Monsanto lobbyist Jerry Crawford of the Crawford & Mauro Law Firm in Des Moines, Iowa, donated $151,727 to the Clinton camp over the quarter ending December 31.

Hillary Clinton's health issues spiral out of control

Clinton continues to surface in the news media for her failing health. A YouTube video featuring an experienced doctor who claims the Democratic candidate has Parkinson's disease recently went viral.

Speaking with Gary Franchi of the Next News Network, Dr. Ted Noel says Clinton appears to be displaying symptoms of taking Levodopa, a common drug used to treat Parkinson's disease. He also believes that her difficulty swallowing is a result of the degenerative nervous system disease, which affects an estimated 1 million Americans.

While it's unclear if Clinton has Parkinson's, we do know that she was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday, which her people insist is the reason for the presidential candidate's latest struggle.

Clinton was again caught on camera falling over, almost as if she was fainting or about to faint, while attempting to get into a van following a ceremony honoring the victims of 9/11 over the weekend.

Secret Service agents are seen in the video grabbing Clinton by the arm, preventing her from falling to the ground. Her doctor released a public statement saying that Clinton is being treated for pneumonia and dehydration.
