(NaturalNews) The primary strategy being employed by the Obama administration in a bid to cover up the disastrous roll-out of the worst website ever is to claim that you're not really seeing what you're seeing.

This tactic has been employed regularly by a number of Obama operatives since the massive and very publicized failure of Healthcare.gov. It reminds me of the scene from The Wizard Of Oz when Dorothy and the gang see the "man behind the curtain" but are told not to pay any attention to him.

'Don't believe what you've heard'

That includes Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. During a recent appearance in San Antonio weeks after the failed Oct. 1 deadline, Sebelius - sitting on a panel - told the gathered crowd, "Sign up. Don't believe what you've heard. Just check it out, look at the prices, look at the plans."

Only, few have been able to sign up. Oh, and then there was the time a few days later, when she told the House Energy and Commerce Committee that the Healthcare.gov website had never crashed - moments after it did.

Sebelius isn't the only one out there from the Obama regime lying about the website. So, too, is the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, a division of HHS. As reported by CNS News:

Marilyn Tavenner, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), testified before the House Ways & Means Committee [recently] that the Obamacare enrollment system is "working."

"So what I can guarantee is we have a system that's working. We're gonna improve the speed of that system," she said at the hearing on Obamacare enrollment.

But the truth is - as most Americans who don't have their heads buried up to their shoulders know - that simply isn't true. Indeed, the website has been plagued with problems for those trying to enroll in the federal exchange since it was launched.

'You're saying the system is now working?'

During Tavenner's testimony, Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, had asked Tavenner if she could guarantee that "no American will experience a gap in their health care."

She began to answer, but Brady interrupted Tavenner's response, asking his own question, "Excuse me, you're saying the system right now is working?"

"I'm saying it's working. It's just not working at the speed that we want and at the success rate that we want, and those are the things we're working on," Tavenner replied.

"We also have alternative methods for folks. They can use the call center. They can use paper applications, and then we have in person assistance available in each state, so I can guarantee you that we can reach out to each individual and help them select a plan and enroll," she said.
