Breaking: Individual mandate of Obamacare will be delayed; White House still delusional about timeframe

Obamacare

(NaturalNews) NBC News is now confirming that the individual mandate of the so-called "Affordable Care Act" (Obamacare) will be delayed by the White House due to the disastrously failed Healthcare.gov website. The video of NBC News reporting this is included below.

According to NBC, the deadline for beginning enrollment in Obamacare will be pushed out by just six weeks, during which the Obama administration will still be clinging to the delusional hope that the Healthcare.gov website will be magically repaired and running.

Former HHS Secretary Mike Leavitt says in the video, "I think they have about a month to get it fixed. If they get it fixed, people will move on. If they don't it will characterize and brand, forever, Obamacare."

(A month? This project needs a solid YEAR just to fix the typos in the code!)

NBC News goes on to report, "In some states, customers that are getting through are experiencing sticker shock..." because rates are much higher than what people were promised by Obama when the Affordable Care Act was being so aggressively pushed through Congress.

Meanwhile, a look at the real numbers reveals that more people are losing their health insurance due to Obamacare than enrolling in Obamacare. In other words, the Affordable Care Act is a net LOSS of health insurance coverage for Americans.

Obama administration drowning in delusion

Why does the White House need to delay Obamacare if, according to Sebelius, it's all working great? She says the website is "open for business!" and touts the millions of users who have visited the site... and who then hit refresh, and then hit refresh again. Add all that up and the site is uber-popular!

But back here on planet Earth, the idea that a mere six weeks of additional time will get Healthcare.gov functioning correctly is, of course, delusional. But this is the new norm for the Obama administration: make great-sounding sales pitches, then deliver exactly the opposite of what you promised. (Doubling of the national debt, massive job losses, huge health insurance rate increases, more secret military prisons... you name it!)

As further proof of this delusional mindset that still infects almost everyone in Washington D.C., NBC News reports, "The lead federal contractor, CGI, will testify that the website passed eight technical reviews prior to going live on October 1st..."

You read that right: eight technical reviews! And yet it couldn't survive the first 24 hours of its launch without collapsing. Just for the record, even the dark underworld of the internet seems to be more competent than the Obama administration, as gambling and porn sites work far better than Healthcare.gov. Maybe that's because they actually have to deliver something to stay in business and keep collecting payment, unlike Obamacare which just steals your paycheck away from you in the form of IRS penalties, all without your consent.

Obamacare is unconstitutional, unethical and broken. It is also rapidly becoming a symbol of everything that's wrong with the failed Obama legacy and the disastrous delusions of socialism. In that way alone, Obamacare is a raging success because it is exposing the total failure of Big Government for all to see.

More than three weeks into the debacle, we are still waiting for the White House to produce just ONE person who has successfully enrolled through Healthcare.gov (and isn't a hoax or an engineered P.R. stunt). Don't hold your breath, either, or you might pass out and actually need medical care.
