(NaturalNews) The Bill of Rights - the original 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution - are considered the cornerstones of our nation's founding. When they were adopted at the time, the Bill of Rights were considered radical and revolutionary, devolving power from a central authority and recognizing that certain "inalienable rights" always have - and should always continue - to belong to individuals.

So important are these basic guarantees of liberty that no American in their right mind would ever voluntarily decide to surrender them - right? Well, no - not right. Enter the "enlightened" of California.

Social commentator Mark Dice is at it again, this time "convincing" some Californians to sign a petition that calls for the repeal of the Bill of Rights.

Dice is at it again

In this video, beachgoers in the Golden State are seen repeatedly signing a bogus petition which strips them of their most basic human rights.

"A signature to support [President] Obama repealing the Bill of Rights," Dice says to one young man as he signs, "to take things further than the Patriot Act... in this new world order. We don't need that old-fashioned Bill of Rights anymore..."

When the man hands the signature clipboard back to Dice, the social commentator says, "You just helped repeal the Bill of Rights. I appreciate it."

"Alright, man," the brain dead Californian replies.

As the man walks away, Dice is incredulous. "Did you get that?" he asked the camera person. "What the heck... You know, the force is strong with this one."

Dice approached his next target, another young man.

"Do you support Obama repealing the Bill of Rights?" he asked. "Yeah, sure," the man readily answered, taking the clipboard from Dice and affixing his signature.

"We're doing everything we can to help Obama modernize the Bill of Rights in today's New World Order, today's society. So, we're helping support him repealing the Bill of Rights," says Dice.

But it's not just younger adults. Older adults are also willing signatories.

"He's done everything he can to repeal the bill of rights but we're just showing the citizenry is right behind him repealing the bill of rights," Dice stressed as signers all nodded in agreement.

After each signs, Dice makes sure to say "thanks" to them for having "just helped repeal the Bill of Rights."

Once again, the video shows just how far many Americans are willing to go when requests are prefaced with this phrase: "Will you help us support Obama?"

Finally, at the end of the clip, an older gentlemen on a bicycle refuses to sign the petition "to repeal the Bill of Rights," saying that, as former military, he once swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.

He alone earned Dice's admiration, who informed the man that he was being videotaped and that, of the long list of names on his phone petition, he was the only one "intelligent" enough to refuse.

Dice is an expert at crafting such bogus petition issues and has done so often in the past. What never ceases to amaze, however, is the willingness of many Americans to simply give up the most basic - and what should be the most cherished - of human rights.

What a disgrace

Previous "petitions" by Dice have called for repealing the First and Second amendments, and to throw gun owners in prison. All the questions were slanted favorably towards Obama; all signers did so willingly.

"Dice also conducted mock 'Obama Security Force' bag searches on the campus of San Diego State University as he trashed the 4th amendment. A number of students complied with having their belongings searched when they were told that carrying a bag was a sign of terrorism," InfoWars.com reported.

Literally, tens of millions of Americans throughout our history have served to defend the Constitution and the American people from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Scores have died in defense of it. It is a disgrace that so many Americans now are so blindly willing to give them up for any president, let alone Obama - a president who so regularly abuses them with his policies.
