(NewsTarget) All of us love to hear beautiful sounds. Whether it's a majestic song or a pleasant voice, the sounds of nature or a child's laughter, sounds can have a very positive or negative effect not only on our moods, but even on our body's right down to the atomic level.

This is because all matter vibrates at various and specific frequencies. These frequencies can be used for either positive or negative effects. Scientist's have used these laws of physics to create various weapons, medicine uses sound to view inside the body or dissolve stones or tumors and the Chinese have been using sounds to heal and cure for millennia.

In the advanced spiritual practices, various chanting methods are used to generate a more peaceful state of mind, boost the energy in various organ systems and increase immunity throughout the entire body. These methods can be used for religious or purely health related purposes. It all depends upon the desire and goals of the practitioner. These methods are based on pure science and the physics of vibrations, something that the Chinese have been aware of for millennia.

In the first two articles in this series it was mentioned that the Chinese discovered through observation and analysis of patients that when a person had an illness whose origin was traced to a particular organ, that person always made the same sounds of distress (moaning, whining, and whimpering) regardless of the language that the person spoke. This is equivalent to how people all over the world make the same ha ha sound when they laugh, regardless of their spoken language, the sound is always made when laughing.

A person laughs because the body is purging itself of excess fire energy built up in the heart channels when you experience something funny. Martial artists are familiar with the making of various sounds when throwing punches or performing other techniques. Karate practitioners often use the "Keeah" sound to help increase striking power. Chinese martial artists use other sounds that are even more effective which are based on the same principles as the six healing sounds. When making these sounds during a particular technique, it is known to cause an increase in power, strength and energy.

Similar to these sounds that martial artists use to increase power are sounds that can be used to cool, calm and heal various organs of the body. When these sounds are performed in a gentler manner, they can greatly aid in the elimination of excess fire energies from those organs. In Chinese medicine it is often these excess fire energies that are responsible for many diseases and conditions that are so prevalent in today's society. By purging these energies from the body we can greatly boost the health of the organ and heal any diseases the excess and stagnant fire chi may be causing.

In the first two articles in this series we covered the sounds for the Lungs and Kidneys.

  1. Lung sound: "Sssssssssssss"

  2. Kidney sound: "Wooooooooo"
    https://www.naturalnews.com/025082.html

Each of these sounds should be made audibly, but softly and gently during exhalation. If you're at work or in a crowd and don't want to be heard making these sound, you can make them as soft as a whisper without losing any of their effectiveness. Please refer to the previous articles for more details on the first two sounds.

The Liver Sound

The next sound is the sound for the liver. The liver is another of the five critical yin organs of the body that also includes the lungs, kidneys, heart and spleen. Keeping the liver healthy, strong and stress free is very important in your overall health, longevity and fitness. The liver controls a number of important functions in the body and it is an organ that we can not live without.

The liver is responsible for the overall metabolism of the body, controls muscular strength, movements and coordination, strength of vision, clarity of thinking, helps to detoxify and re-energize the blood during sleep and creates important cholesterol.

It also controls sexual energy and vitality, is associated with the negative emotion of anger, the positive emotion of kindness and the element of wood. This wood energy of the liver helps to feed, control and energize the heart. Just as wood is needed to keep a fire going, the wood energy of the liver is needed to help keep the heart going. When we get angry we're greatly increasing the amount of "wood" energy sent to the heart. This is why the heart rate often increases when you experience strong anger.

This is similar to what happens when you add more wood on a fire. The greater the amount of wood, the hotter the fire will become. Many people are familiar with the fatigue that often comes after a bout of serious anger. This is the result of the draining of the liver chi during the emotional flare up. After the anger subsides the person usually finds that they need to a take a nap. This is because the body needs to recharge to liver energy.

So it is strongly recommended to avoid uncontrolled outbursts of anger as much as possible. Not only because were greatly stressing the liver but because constant anger will cause the body to be in a continuous state of excess fire energy. The Chinese have a saying that "Anger is a fire, if you don't put it out, it will burn you up"

To help you keep anger under control and to cool and strengthen this critical organ were going to go over the next sound of "The Six Healing Sounds to Cure and Heal" the liver sound. To practice this sound take a deep breath until the lungs are about 80% full, then tilting the head back and looking up, breathe out while softly making the sound

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

The sound is just like the sound you would make when telling someone to be quiet "Shhhh". In this case we are in essence telling the liver to be quiet. Just like the previous sounds, we're going to make the sound soft and gentle as this will help to further facilitate the calming down of the liver chi.

After the liver sound is made, take a deep breath and visualize a bright green energy coming back into the liver with each inhalation. You can visualize this energy coming in right through the skin directly into the organ itself or coming in with the breath and going down into the liver that way. Since we're purging energy from the liver on the exhalation, we want to replace some of the negative fire energy that we expelled with clean pure clean energy on the inhalation.

Practice this sound between 3-6 times per session. If you are very angry, have red or watery eyes, are trying to detoxify the liver or if you have a sour or bitter taste in your mouth, increase the number to of breaths between 9 and 36 times. Remember to inhale and see the bright green energy coming into the liver after each exhalation. This is because bright green is the frequency of the liver energy so by using the mind to modulate this energy upon Inhalation we'll also strengthen the liver a little bit with each inhalation.

Through the purging of excess fire energy from the liver, this sound will not only boost health but it can have a tremendous impact on those who have anger control issues. An old Taoist axiom states that if someone is angry at a person and makes the liver sound 30 times and yet is still angry, that person has a right to slap the other person. Though we don't recommend that at all!

This is merely to give you an idea of how effective the Taoists regard the liver sound at purging the fire energies which often lead to uncontrollable anger. This sound can also help put you in a better mood, improve vision, cleanse the blood and clear up muddled thinking.

Remember that you can increase the effectiveness of any of the six healing sounds by visualizing a black smoke coming out of the particular organ on the exhalation, along with the appropriate sound for that organ.

The author has often used the liver sound when the eyes are tired, red or itchy with great results. So the next time that you have red or itchy eyes (a sign of excess fire chi), instead of reaching for those eye drops first, try making the liver sound, the kidney sound or both. Do them both at least six times each then see how your eyes look and feel afterwards. Many times you'll find that you don't need those eye drops at all.

In the next article we'll be going over a very important sound these days, the heart sound.
