In fact, I'm going on the record to state that unless we take the profit out of disease, we will never get health care costs under control. It's just too darned profitable for drug companies, cancer clinics, hospitals and doctors to keep the entire population trapped in a cycle of disease from which they can never escape.

Unaffordable health care is an ECONOMIC problem, not a health problem
Essentially, I argue that the problem with unaffordable health care is rooted in bad economics... economics that reward the medical system for keeping people sick.
When people get healthy, the health care system loses revenue! When people prevent cancer, the cancer industry loses out on huge profits! This is why the cancer industry refuses to teach cancer prevention, and it's why the entire health care system does virtually nothing to prevent disease. (There's too much money in TREATING it!)
