San Bernardino terrorist wife pledged allegiance to ISIS before Christmas party massacre

by Julie Wilson staff writer

(NaturalNews) It's now emerged that the married Muslim couple who opened fire at a mental health facility in San Bernardino, Calif., killing 14 and wounding 17 others, were in fact inspired by ISIS. The link was confirmed when authorities learned that Tashfeen Malik, 27, the Saudi wife of Syed Farook, 28, pledged allegiance to "ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on Facebook" during or leading up to the attack, according to reports.

The couple attempted to erase their digital footprints one day prior to the massacre, "deleting email accounts, disposing of hard drives and smashing their cellphones," law enforcement said. The female shooter is believed to have used a Facebook account registered under a fake name to upload her post praising ISIS.

After being killed in a gun battle with police, authorities discovered an arsenal of weapons in the suspects' home, including a dozen pipe bombs, other IEDs and 5,000 bullets. In a bag left at the party where the attack began, authorities found "three crudely made bombs packed with black powder and rigged to a remote-controlled toy car," reports the Daily Mail.

Authorities theorize that the couple either self-radicalized in the US or during a recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

Just two days after ISIS-led terrorists massacred 130 people in Paris, France, the Health Ranger predicted similar attacks would hit the US next, namely in "gun-free zones" and in cities like Chicago or Los Angeles.

Just as Adams predicted, ISIS-led attacks struck in a state infamous for its draconian gun laws and just one hour away from Los Angeles.

Health center practicing drills during terror attacks

An active shooter drill was taking place at the Inland Regional Center during the attacks, an employee told CNN, adding that the facility implemented the drills last year. Adams reported that the drills were frequent, occurring as often as once a month.

In yet another twist, it's been revealed that the suspects may have been under FBI surveillance leading up to the health center attacks.

Farook was in contact with individuals under "FBI scrutiny," according to a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity. As recent as last June, Farook had been in contact with "four people from the Los Angeles area who were previously under investigation by US counterterrorism officials," The Washington Times is reporting.

Stay tuned for more on this developing story as we continue to uncover details about the FBI's surveillance of at least one of San Bernardino shooters.
