Scientists use moths to experiment with forcing gay sex as a form of population control

by J. D. Heyes

(NaturalNews) Lesbians, gays and transgendered persons: Though such individuals make up only a small percentage of the population, their influence has been dramatically enhanced by near-universal acceptance in the popular culture.

Now, it seems, the "lifestyle" is seeping into the scientific world.

As reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP), the Natural History Museum in London is conducting a rather odd trial: using female moth pheromones to confuse males into engaging in homosexual activity, in a bid to stop the cloth-eating insects from breeding.

Exosect, a British agricultural technology firm, puts minute levels of the pheromones in wax tablets that rub off on amorous male moths; in turn, they go on to attract other males, AFP reported.

"The powder overwhelms their senses and they aren't able to detect regular females anymore," company spokeswoman Georgina Donovan told AFP.

"If an untreated male comes into contact with a treated male, he will start to show mating behaviours, such as wing fanning," she added.

Reflection of society in general?

Exosect officials say that fooling the male moths into attempting to mate with other males is more effective and more environmentally friendly than using pesticides, such as the kind that are found in mothballs.

The Natural History Museum uses the system, as do the Hampton Court Palace, the Royal Opera House and the Houses of Parliament. Officials at the museum said that moth numbers have dropped by half thus far during trial runs. Exosect officials say that the technique creates a break in the mating cycle, thereby reducing the number of larvae that feed on and damage natural fibers.

AFP further reported:

The problem of moth infestation has become more acute as home insulation and heating have improved, creating ideal conditions for the insects, the company said.

A preference for natural-fibre clothing and furniture among many shoppers, and the popularity of vintage clothing also mean moths have become more of a menace, Exosect said.

Officials said the technology was available for use in different countries throughout Europe. Also, a similar product is used for a different kind of moth in food factors around the world as well.

But some have equated the experimental technique to a transformation of societies – especially Western societies – into one less dominated by alpha-male types. They say popular programming on television in which male characters are portrayed as more feminine, outright homosexual or nerdy and less threatening – like The Big Bang Theory – is both intentional and harmful.

As early as 1998, scholar Ann Douglas argued in her book, The Feminization of American Culture, that, as religion began losing its control over popular culture in the Victorian Era, the clergy and powerful women of the era exerted influence in the only areas they could, in the arts and literature. But, she noted, women often wrote about subjects that essentially kept them powerless: piety, timidity and a disdain for competition. That eventually changed.

'Girlie-men'

In 2010, columnist Debbie Schlussel cited a Wall Street Journal feature entitled, "Why Women Don't Want Macho Men," which detailed studies which regularly show that women in wealthy Western societies tend to prefer feminine-looking men (it was just the opposite for women in poorer societies).

"But the article should have been title, 'Why Spoiled Western Women Don't Want Men & Why They'd Rather Be Them,'" she wrote.

Continuing, she observed:

The Journal doesn't directly express the societal distinction here–that the women who prefer feminine men are Western and afflicted with feminism and female gender-based affirmative action–and, instead, calls them countries with "healthier" populations. It ain't got nothin' to do with health. Sorry, but men who spend a lot of time on their hair and have a basket of hair products aren't men. They're girls stuck in men's bodies. That's not healthy.

Natural health specialist Dr. William Wong agrees. In a recent column, he wrote that part of the transformation could be chemical:

Combine this brainwashing with the 5 to 8 birth control pills worth of estrogen in each bottle of soy formula fed to baby boys at a time when their testosterone level should be equal to that of an 18 year old so that the particular part of the anterior pituitary develops telling the boy he is a Guy, a Male, a future Man and you see that we've had a multi-level assault on manhood worldwide in the latter part of the 20th century....
