Food chemicals, HFCS and even measles vaccines are far more dangerous to the public than the measles virus

by L.J. Devon, Staff Writer

(NaturalNews) Over the past decade, there have been various measles outbreaks, but the CDC reports that there have been no deaths. Measles is something which the body can overcome, especially if it is fueled with the right vitamins, minerals, probiotics, etc. In fact, death by measles steadily declined before the first measles vaccine was introduced. Look at the hard facts on measles deaths through history here. Apparently the vaccine came in to save the day a little too late. Why is it credited for eradicating measles?

A pediatrician practicing in California, Dr. Jay Gordon, assures parents that healthy children have nothing to worry about, even though the media is rousing up fears. "The last fatal case of measles in the United States was 11 or 12 years ago," he said. "The complication rate is very low in healthy children." Dr. Gordon uses anecdotal evidence advising parents to delay MMR vaccine until the child is three years of age. Some parents look at the risks and decide not to subject their child to the MMR vaccine at all.

Measles can be overcome, whereas vaccine-induced anaphylaxis cannot

Even if a child contracts a rare case of measles, it's not the end of the child's life. The illness is signified by high fever, cough, runny nose and red, watery eyes. Two to three days after these symptoms begin, tiny white spots may appear inside the mouth. After three days, a rash will appear. It may include raised bumps and overtake the entire body, inciting a temperature of 104 degrees Fahrenheit. After a few days, these symptoms subside and the person returns to normal.

The good news is, once a child has naturally faced measles, he or she is immune for life. The vaccine on the other hand is a false hope and wears off over time. On top of that, the vaccine comes with increased risk of adverse reaction, including anaphylaxis that can result in death. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) documents these risks.

VAERS reports, "Six types of vaccines--MMR [containing measles], varicella zoster, influenza, hepatitis B, meningococcal, and tetanus-containing vaccines--are linked to anaphylaxis."

VAERS also reports, "The committee also found convincing evidence of a causal relationship between injection of vaccine, independent of the antigen involved, and two types of adverse events, including syncope, or fainting, and deltoid bursitis, or frozen shoulder, characterized by shoulder pain and loss of motion."

Foreign measles cases put immune-compromised population at risk

The CDC reports that, "Measles is still common in many parts of the world including some countries in Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and Africa" and that travelers "with measles continue to bring the disease into the U.S."

Foreign measles continues to make its way into the US, posing a risk to those whose vaccine-induced immunity has worn off, who have never been vaccinated before and the immunocompromised. Americans are most at risk today because of the quality of their food. There are more food chemicals in the American diet than ever before. One of the most concerning is high-fructose corn syrup.

A blitz of food chemicals including HFCS are suppressing humans' disease-fighting potential

In 1958, the US government passed the Food Additives Amendment, allowing food companies to bypass FDA review as long as their ingredients were "generally recognized as safe (GRAS)." Because of this, there are now over 3,000 chemicals in American foods. These chemicals displace nutrition, making Americans more prone to getting sick and staying sick. Certain agrochemicals like glyphosate (widespread in today's food) actually destroy the good bacteria in the gut, destroying digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

HFCS is put into so many food products, including ketchups, sodas, pancake syrups, cookies, dressings, sauces and cereals. It's practically inescapable. Measles may last a week or so, but the effect of a high-fructose-corn-syrup diet has much further reaching consequences, inflicting long-term diseases that inhibit immunity. (Think diabetes, obesity, heart disease and lack of vitamin and mineral absorption.)

Instead of mandating vaccines against people's will, public health policy should be looking to protect the collective immune system of the people by holding companies accountable for the amount of food chemicals they manufacture into our food. Corporate food is poisoning us, keeping us from activating our inherent immune systems.

Measles is a disease that we can overcome without risky vaccines. It's something we can face if our food wasn't so dumbed down. The population cannot face viruses like measles if they are constantly being pumped full of immune system suppressants like HFCS. We should hold our food system accountable before we start shoving vaccines down each other's throats.
