Stop ADHD naturally without the need for drugs

by Jonathan Landsman

(NaturalNews) According to the National Institute of Mental Health, "scientists are not sure what causes ADHD, although many studies suggest that genes play a large role." Of course, they go on to say that environmental factors "might contribute" to ADHD - but they neglect to warn the public about the dangers of pesticides, wireless technology and nutrient-deprived processed foods - loaded with chemicals and simple sugars.

Our children are being legally poisoned.
The supermarket shelves are packed with foods that provide nothing - in terms of nourishing food for future generations. Wi-fi systems, in our society - especially wireless routers in school buildings - are literally frying our cells to death, making it impossible for the brain to function properly.

On the next NaturalNews Talk Hour, Jonathan Landsman and Teresa Fuller, M.D., Ph.D. hope to stop the insanity by issuing a major public health alert, along with lots of practical solutions for the ADHD epidemic.

Some say ADHD is a 'manufactured' condition by the psychiatric medical community

According to the American Psychiatric Association, ADHD is defined "as developmentally inappropriate attention and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity so pervasive and persistent as to significantly interfere with a child's daily life."

Conventionally-trained mental health experts will suspect ADHD - when they notice these symptoms:

1. Inattentive, impulsive, or hyperactive behavior - which is not 'age-appropriate'.
2. A given behavior which leads to 'chronic problems in daily functioning'.
3. If the "inappropriate" behavior is consistent in several different environments, like at school and home, then it may be a sign of ADHD.

Generally speaking, once a child is diagnosed with ADHD, western medicine looks to treat this condition with stimulants such as, methylphenidate and amphetamines. These drugs are proven to cause a loss of appetite, sleep disorders, anxiety and irritability. In addition, and this is important, conventional medicine admits that drugs are NOT a cure for ADHD.

It seems pointless to debate whether psychiatry (and big pharma) purposely 'invented' ADHD to sell more drugs or not. The bottom line is that these drugs really don't address the underlying cause for emotional upset, behavioral problems or brain disorders.

On the next NaturalNews Talk Hour, you'll learn how to naturally improve brain function and emotional well-being without resorting to dangerous drugs that increase the risk of heart attacks and sudden death.

How can we safely alleviate the symptoms of ADHD?

Erratic behaviors and social difficulties may simply be a sign of nutritional deficiencies or cellular toxicity. For example, low blood sugar can cause depression, anger and a host of mental difficulties like poor concentration. For emotional well-being - it's best to avoid simple sugars, eat lots of organic fruits and vegetables, healthy fats like coconut oil and avocados plus consume high-quality protein like, spirulina or small amounts of grass-fed animal food.

Obviously, when a child is suffering with ADHD symptoms - it's best to find ways to reduce stressful situations; improve sleep habits and develop more enjoyable activities that capture the interest (and imagination) of the child.

In terms of improving one's environment - try to plan ahead and organize the day. Kids, especially, need to learn the value of discipline and stress-free living. Avoid the use of unwanted household chemicals, personal care products and wireless technology - as this adds a tremendous toxic burden to the body making it difficult to feel healthy and focused. And, naturally, encourage physical activity.
